YOGA TREE POEM (Strengthen your core muscles and improve your balance)
Planted firmly in the ground
There is a forest of breathing trees.
(deep breath, foot on calf or thigh)
They grow in silence, strong and sweet
With rain to drink and sun to eat.
(deep breath, arms above head, hands together)
With this pose learn patience, please
And grow in balance like the trees.
(two deep breaths)
Many things reflect your worth.
Find the sky and seek the earth.
(lower arms and leg, repeat with other side)
"We are what we repeatedly do. Exxellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." ~Aristotle
“That which we persist in doing becomes easy to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our power to do has increased.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
